Corvallis Community,

We all know and appreciate Captain Johnny, although many of us have never stopped to purchase his Halibut, Lingcod, and Salmon from the funky bus on the corner of 53rd St and Philomath Blvd.

Captain Johnny asked us to help him get into an assisted living facility yesterday evening.

He could probably use a little more support than just us can provide, so starting a Go Fund Me. We will be making every call possible to get him into assisted living to die more peacefully with Parkinsons Disease, hopefully later than sooner, and hopefully with more dignity than he has been awarded with recently.

His Parkinsons condition is getting worse, and is making it difficult for him to navigate the public health system. It takes a village, our friends.
