Captain (ret.) Darrin Germany
Fallen Not Forgotten, Inc was recently informed by one of its board members of the passing of one of his long time friends and fellow “Yat Yas” – Captain (ret) Darrin Germany. At this time FNF is seeking your support to help raise funds for the wife of Captain Darrin Germany. In an effort to help Cynthia Germany through this hard time, we are seeking to raise $5000 that will be used to cover the cost of the Darrin’s service/celebration of life, which will take place once we are clear of the COVID pandemic. Any funds over this amount will go directly to the widow to help her during this transition. Darrin’s tragic passing is clearly hard for his family and friends, and anything we can do to help is greatly appreciated.
Captain Germany proudly served his country for 22 years in the Unites States Marine Corps. He participated in multiple operations to include Operation Provide Promise (Bosnia), Operation Continue Hope (Somalia), Operation Support Democracy (Haiti), and Operation Iraqi Freedom. He spent his time after retirement golfing, working in his organic garden, and painting in his art studio. Darrin loved spending time with his wife Cynthia, watching movies, discussing politics and history, and would talk for hours on end about all of his experiences in the Marine Corps. He had an unprecedented love for his Corps Brothers and would speak of them daily. They were forever a part of him.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter Miah McClinton of CA, and his four step-children, Amber Ebsch and Dillon Kaim of Georgia, and Lacey Stulak and Zoe Sikon of OH. Darrin was preceded in death by his adoptive parents Freeman and Vida Germany.
