Captain Chris Maries & the Doreen CFA

This page has been set up in honour of our father and past serving Captain, Chris Maries.

We have decided to set up a place where friends and family can honour him and donate to a cause very close to his heart.

Chris was a very passionate volunteer member of the Country Fire Brigade and served as a fighter and captain for many many years.

In 2021, he had a Doreen fire truck named after him in honour of his service.

Please, if you will donate to his legacy, be it small or large every dollar will make a difference and continue his passion to save lives and support our community.

A Service to Celebrate the Life of Mr. Chris Maries will be held at Bridges Restaurant, 1075 Heidelberg-Kinglake Rd Hurstbridge on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at 11 a.m.
