A Tribute to Capt. Jesus Ake

A Beloved Captain, Mentor, and Friend

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing of Capt. Jesus Ake. On Saturday, December 7th, Orlando left us, leaving a void in the hearts of many.

For over three decades, Jesus dedicated his life to the sea, serving as a skilled and respected diving boat captain. He was a beloved figure in the Cozumel diving community, known for his enthusiasm, expertise, and warm personality.

Beyond his professional life, he was a devoted father and grandfather, a wise mentor, and a cherished friend. His absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him.

To honor his memory and support his family during this difficult time, we are organizing this campaign to help cover the costs of his funeral. Any excess funds will be directly donated to his family.

Come together to honor the life of a remarkable man. He would have enjoyed celebrating life one more day, so let's do so in his memory.
