Hello all,
My name is John Caruso and I am raising money for our supervisor Capt Jeffries. Today 12/18/20 he was suspended due to a use of force with a notoriously assaultive inmate. Most people in DOC are aware of him and his violent antics. During this particular time he was continuously and violently assaulting the Probe Team with his hands, head, feet, and biting. This suspension is totally uncalled for especially with an inmate that has more false allegations on staff then any other inmate who has ever been in custody. His sole goal is to create enough havoc so DOC will be forced to send him to another jurisdiction. Anyone who know Capt Jeffries knows he is the most selfless person you will ever meet and put everyone first. His officers are his #1 priority in all aspects from their personal lives to making sure they get home safe. There is no better Intake Capt in DOC. Most people know the stressors that come with working in the Intake but not many people can understand it and deal with it on a daily basis. Capt Jeffries sole goal is to make sure his staff is safe. I am raising money to help him get through this holiday season and to make sure he will be able to pay his bills and have a perfect holiday. As of right now it is unknown how long he will be suspended for and that is the scary part with the climate of the city at this time. He is not only a supervisor he is a dear friend and brother to myself and everyone who works with us daily. I am asking for everyone to give whatever they can to help our brother.
