Capt. America needs a hand

Hello, my name is Daniel Ewing, son of Capt. America aka Danny Ewing. Everyone in Mineral Wells knows his as the "man on the motorcycle wearing a flag" My father was diagnosed with liver cancer several months ago. Since then he has been unable to work and has been drawing short term disability. Unfortunately that has come to an end. So has his insurance coverage. He was informed that he would be approved to join the transplant list. However his loss of insurance coverage has compromised that surgery. He will be denied until he has coverage for the surgery and the lengthy aftercare. Any funds obtained will be used for his immediate medical situation. He objects to the idea of this fundraiser and the idea of "taking a hand out". We just think this should be taken care of in a timely manner.
