Our vibrant, kind, generous friend, Ashley Capra, has been fiercely fighting ovarian cancer for the past 2 years. Ashley has tried every treatment possible and has had entire armies of people praying for her. We learned this week that Ashley is losing her battle, and that she will need 24/7 end-of-life care over the next month. To add insult to injury, she and her husband, Daniel, both work in the hospitality industry and with the cancellation of all events in the Bay Area due to Covid, they've taken a significant financial hit.

Ashley has given full-hearted love and support to so many of us over the years. Anyone who has had the privilege of knowing Ashley would say that we're better people for having had her in our life. She and her family now need our help as she enters the last phase of her journey. 

We'd like to raise $50,000 to support Ashley, her husband, Daniel, and their son, Aidan. The funds will help their family in the following ways:
* Covering necessary round the clock care not covered by insurance
* Outsourcing daily tasks so that they can spend more precious time together 
* Supporting Ashley's end of life celebration
* Helping ensure that Daniel and Aidan are on more financially stable footing until the hospitality industry recovers from the impact of Covid
* Anything raised in excess will go towards funding Aidan’s education
