Capo beat Covid! Help him heal!

Hi everyone!

My name is Daniela Pilato and I am Ken Capo's niece. Many people have reached out and asked if there will be a Go Fund Me for him. We needed to wait to see how things turned out and what realistically he is looking at with medical bills and such before considering this as an option. We are BLESSED to say that your prayers have worked. Ken is here with us, and on the mend after a VERY scary fight with Covid.

 

Anyone who knows him, knows that he would do ANYTHING for his loved ones and friends. Over the years, he has done many things for people that are priceless. (We always joke with him that he doesn't have biological children of his own, because God knew that so many of us would need him in a very fatherly role at different points in life.) I think many of us can agree, if we ever needed anything....Ken is the guy to call.

 

Ultimately, I made the decision to make this Go Fund Me knowing that he is a proud man, but a man that was given a second chance at life. Statistics and odds were NOT in his favor but he quite miraculously recovered and has some uphill battles to face for a bit. He is currently in a Rehab center to gain strength again and will need some accommodations/services at home once he can return home. (Co-pays, ICU treatment, Rehab co-pays, and out of pocket costs for services in the home.) Of course, he has also been out of work for over a month at this point and the timeframe he will be able to return to work is currently unknown.

 

This time, it's time to help HIM. Please do not let this pressure you. I understand it is the holiday season, and there are tough times with finances for our entire country! This is NOT TO FEEL LIKE AN OBLIGATION FOR ANYONE. If you are able to contribute at all, ANY AMOUNT is more than generous and appreciated to help with MANY things as he heals. We appreciate all of your prayers, messages, thoughts, and calls! He continues to say that he truly felt and heard every single prayer while he was fighting for his life.
