We are physics students from Capital City Public Charter school in D. C. and represent 12  countries around the world. Over two thirds of us are first generation college bound students and over half wish to pursue a degree in Science or Engineering. This is our first year competing in the Electric Vehicle Grand Prix. We hope to gain hands-on, real world experience by building and racing an electric vehicle. Help us participate by contributing to the cost of parts and reach our goal of $5,000 by Februrary 15th. Capital City will be able to reuse these parts in subsequent years to allow future students to take part in the competition. We hope you will consider being a part of our legacy!
