Capital Campaign for Mountain People's Co-op

The Mountain People's Co-op has been a proud member of the Nederland community for over 45 years - we are one of Nederland's oldest businesses!! We consistently provide access to organic and healthy foods, hot lunches, freshly made deli and bakery items, supplements and natural self-care items, and bulk items including grains, beans, teas, herbs, spices, and more.

Our member-owned Co-op has been debt-free for several years, but recently, we have had some unfortunate financial setbacks and are trying to get back on track. We have seen real estate taxes double in the last two years, had power outages that led to thousands of dollars of lost product, and the cost of living has increased, so our wages must also increase. Our greatest current need is the installation of a generator so that our refrigerated and frozen products are no longer lost during our frequent power outages.

To continue serving our members and running our wonderful store, we are asking for your help. Our Capital Campaign to raise $50,000 for the Mountain People's Co-op begins NOW. With your support, we feel confident that we can reach our goal. We are so grateful for any contribution you can make.
