Please Help Save Our School

The Academy of Young Scholars is a diverse preschool located in Rock Hill, SC.  Founded in 2017, the school has proven to be a safe haven for children and parents.  This could all come crashing down at the end of the year if we are unable to complete our option to purchase, as our 3-year lease is coming to an end, and we will be unable to renew. Covid-19 knocked us down, but not out, and we stayed open to ensure that 11 children of First Responders enjoyed continuity of care, while their parents worked hard during the height of the crisis. Our income interruption set us back and with the deadline looming, we really need your help. We have a Facebook presence that has over 3,000 pictures of active children, mostly in an outdoor environment,  engaging in a myriad of experiments and projects and learning academically, physically, and socially.  The owner holds a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education, and the intentional teachers are phenomenal.     Child care is the life line of our country. The parents of those 11 children were essential workers and having a child care option was very important to them. As the economy recovers and parents begin to return to work, having a safe place for their children is imperative.  Please help us keep our school. Part of our Capital Building Campaign  includes an engraved brick drive.
