Cape Verde's Annual Children's Day -- Assomada
Donation protected
Dear Generous Donors,
My name is Vladine Biosse, or some may know me as Mr. Providence. Former student athlete of the University of Rhode Island and current New England (EBA) Super Middleweight Boxing Champion. I am writing for your support in celebrating this year’s Annual Children’s Day in my native country of Cape Verde.
June 1st, 2019 marks the Annual Children’s Day in Cape Verde. Children's Day is not just a day to celebrate children for who they are, but to also bring awareness to challenges children face around the globe. Education is one of the biggest challenges Cape Verde faces today. Poverty stricken, the country lacks resources and supplies to provide a quality education for its children.
Please join me in celebrating National Children’s Day by joining forces to help bridge the education gap for the children of Cape Verde. Inadequate school supplies should not be a reason a child is deprived of an education. I whole heartedly believe that children are our promise for a better future, so it is extremely important that we support their growth.
This year my goal is to raise $12,000 to provide basic school supplies (backpacks, notebooks, pens, and pencils) and a Children’s Day celebration for the 14 classrooms and 900 students of Escola Primaria Assomada in Cape Verde.
Your donation of just $12 can sponsor one student
Everyone deserves a quality education. Thank you in advance for your contribution. It means the world to me and the children of Cape Verde to have your support.
