Cape Cod Cares: Aid for Jamaica After Hurricane Melissa

Donation protected
The island of Jamaica is facing unimaginable devastation in the wake of Category 5 Hurricane Melissa. Homes have been destroyed, communities uprooted, and countless families left without access to basic necessities such as food, clean water, clothing, and shelter. Much of the island’s infrastructure—roads, schools, and power lines—has been severely damaged, leaving many in desperate need of immediate help.

Pastor D.G. Brown of Emmanuel Faith Ministries, a beloved member of the Jamaican community here in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, has stepped forward to make a difference. With deep roots in Jamaica and strong ties to families on the island, Pastor Brown is organizing this fundraiser to provide direct relief to those most affected by the storm.

All donations will go toward purchasing and distributing essential supplies—funding, food, clothing, hygiene products, and rebuilding materials—to families and communities in need. Every contribution, no matter how small, will help bring hope, comfort, and recovery to those whose lives have been shattered by this disaster.

In moments like these, it’s the compassion and generosity of others that help rebuild lives.
Please consider giving what you can, and share this campaign to spread the word.

Together, we can help Jamaica rise again.
