Capco Afghanistan Relief Effort

In response to the urgent humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan, please consider contributing to the International Rescue Committee (IRC) through our GoFundMe page. Capco will match all funds donated at 50% up to $2,000 to increase the beneficial effect for those in need.

All funds raised will be allocated to those affected by the rapidly escalating instability and uncertainty faced by Afghans.

The UN reports that over 18 million Afghans need humanitarian aid. Furthermore, the IRC reports that the number of internally displaced Afghans has risen by 53% from 360,000 to 550,000 since Aug. 1. Women and children are most at risk of displacement and oppression.

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) has committed to providing lifesaving aid in Afghanistan since 1988. Supporting thousands of villages across nine provinces, IRC aids displaced families with shelter, clean water and sanitation and is working to provide emergency cash assistance and protection services for internally displaced people in Kabul.
