a bit on my story on the 3rd of august 2024 I took a seizure and for anyone at a young age and this happening you would have thought it was nothing which I did, after this I spent 14 days in hospital getting tests and scans to find out what was wrong and this time no one really knew what it was.

it was then alerted to me and my family that I would need to go for an mri after I came out of hospital, which at the time I still thought nothing off it and get on with everything as usual. After the scan results came back we got told as a family there is a chance I might have a brain tumour and we were we to come back up for another scan in 3 months.

so 3 months passed went to get the scan and still thinking nothing was gonna be wrong. On the 9th of January this year I was told I needed brain surgery which for anyone at 18 they wouldn’t know how to take this or to deal with it.

So an awake craniotomy it was 20th of January 2025 up to the royal for it ,it hadn’t really hit me until the morning of surgery what I was actually getting done and on the morning of surgery to say the least I was shaking, surgery done and into recovery after this I spent the next 4 days in hospital recovering from surgery.

After all this I had to just wait for results now still at this stage after everything that happened I was still thinking i was gonna be ok.

But on February 21st it all changed for the worst, I was told I’ve a grade 2 glioma a form of brain cancer, which I never thought I’d ever had to deal with in my life especially at a young age,

Me telling my story isn’t me wanting people’s pity it’s me wanting to tell my story and do as much as I can for the brain tumour charity and to raise awareness on such a horrible thing to live with
