Canyon Cannabis Gates, OR

Hi everyone, I’m fundraising for Thorin and all the folks at Canyon Cannabis. As you probably know by now, the store was completely destroyed, along with much of the town of Gates, in the Santiam Fire on September 8. As you know he won’t be eligible for any government assistance that’s offered to businesses affected by the fire because it’s a cannabis dispensary. This means he really needs all the help he can get from those of us who love him and have enjoyed the Canyon Cannabis experience. Here’s the story in Thorin’s own words. “Thank you all for the beautiful sentiment. We lost everything, my art, all the vinyl, my entire personal glass collection... It's all gone. Philly (Will Cole) lost everything, my office filled with so many of my treasures, the gavel my ma brought me from Costa Rica she gave me when she surprised me at my mayoral inauguration, my dad's ashes, my entire Cheech and Chong collection. Anyone who's been in our shop knows how much Canyon Cannabis was an extension of me, and the hurt is so hot, as if I had burned up in that fire, but I didn't, and I'm a strong mother fucker! Some of the priceless irreplaceable art I cried hardest about looks like may come back from the dead, from the original artists. The onslaught of support and love is so appreciated. We're all safe, and will be coming back stronger, but for now I'm in shock, morning, and going through my steps of grief. Thanks again for all the love, it's just so heartbreaking. I was however able to save the most valuable part of Canyon Cannabis, our crew, Philly, Douglass Cheeks, Roman Mendieta, Tabitha Crowell Roy Mitchell, Brandon Rounds-Rogers, Alicia and I are safe, we're all safe, and will be coming back stronger than ever!” So many have offered to help so here’s your chance.
