My family has suddenly and tragically suffered the death of our father, Dale Westbrook on Saturday January 2, 2021 at the age of 68. He died in his sleep and we are still recovering from the shock of it all. Dale was husband to Sue for 45 years, father to 2, grandfather to 4, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He served his country as a second-generation Army soldier and was also committed as a 35 year employee at the Chrysler Corporation.
The death of a parent and spouse is always hard but this has been so much more difficult on our family because of the unexpected nature of it and all of the affairs that must be taken care of in the next little while. It’s still nearly impossible to think of him in the past tense.
Along with your condolences, shared sorrow, our family needs your financial help as we really were not prepared to fully cover the costs of the funeral and memorial services for our father.
Our target is based on the costs the funeral home has given for the service planned for January 9th 2021. **Update** With help and support from friends, family and the VA, our father will rest in Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI.
No donation is too small; any contribution is sincerely appreciated. My brother and I thank you in advance for understanding the urgency of this request and we are extremely grateful for the love, generosity, and support we have already received.
