Cannonball Memorial Run Fundraiser

Sgt. John Bannes and Sgt. Jason Hendrix  of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, CA, created the Cannonball Memorial Run as the FIRST National Immediate Financial Relief Fund for ALL fallen officers nationwide. The Cannonball Memorial Run is a Non-profit for Public Benefit Organization.

Each year, several members of various law enforcement agencies will complete a "Cannonball" style run, obeying all traffic laws, starting on the West Coast in Santa Monica, CA and ending at the National Peace Officer Memorial in Washington DC. They will stop at agencies along the chosen route that have had officers murdered in the line of duty. They will collect patches and deliver them directly to the Attorney General in DC.
