Help Cannibell the Cat Beat Cancer!

Hello, my name is Josh. I've had Cannibell since the day she was born and we've been super close since. I've never felt so close to a companion before. Literally a best friend.

Cannibell started dropping weight rapidly the last couple of months. My primary vet did blood work and it all came back normal. A month later she dropped even more weight and my vet recommended I go somewhere to get an x-ray (she doesn't have that ability).

I went to get the x-ray and they found a cancerous mass in Cannibell's abdomen. They gave me some meds to help her with her appetite, but told me I now need an ultrasound to further see the details of the mass. They do no do ultrasounds.

I go to a place who does the ultrasound, and they send the report to my primary vet. She read off a list of tests that would need to be done before Cannibell could even get to surgery. My vet then basically said this is going to cost a fortune and if you cannot afford it, just make your cat as comfortable as possible for whatever time she has left.

I came home feeling very defeated. A couple friends suggested I make a GoFundMe. At first I'm thinking I won't have much of a reach. I don't have a ton of people in my life, it's the holiday season, times are tough for everyone, there's so much more terrible going on in the world. Thinking no one will even pay this any attention. But, I didn't want to give up on Cannibell without at least trying.

The bills from the bloodwork, the x-rays and the ultrasound added up to around $1,200. So I need every dollar I can get to cover these bills and all the future procedures to come. Vet care, like with healthcare, should not be this expensive ever.

I can't afford to move forward with anything else without help and that's why I'm here. I also own a small business. I personally donated everything I had from that into this.
