In January 2014, Lilian lost her beloved daughter Danielle.  It was the most devasting and heartbreaking event in her life.  Danielle was her best friend, and her loss has left Lilian pretty isolated as Danielle lived with her, and her older daughter Emma and most of her friends live way out in the Valley.  Lilian does not have a vehicle, so getting to see everyone is reliant on them driving to Venice.  If this tragedy wasn't enough, Lilian has been diagnosed with breast cancer.  She goes for chemo every week and follow up approintments.  When she has hospital appointments, if no one is available to give her a ride, then she has to rely on Uber, which adds up very quickly.
 Every time she enters Kaiser, she is charged $20 and that's not including the fees for seeing her oncologist, which the co-payment is $210.00 each time.  Apart from all the medical  fees, she is struggling with her own  household expenses, as when she lost Danielle, she lost some income, as Danielle was contributing to the household expenses.  But the main expense we are raising funds for is for the medical cannabis oil she is taking to not only deal with side effects from the chemo, but in fact many believe it could contribute towards a cure.  This natural remedy works wonderfully and is preventing Lilian from getting sick after chemo treatments.  However, the cannabis oil costs $60 for a small bottle, which lasts about a week.  Since this fight will go on for months, (at least six, most likely a year), the expense is impossible for Lilian to manage.  I know some of you have helped out a bit already, but any help you can give would be amazing, and very gratefully accepted.  Please donate whayever you can!
