Spende geschützt
Who:
Anyone who knows my mom, knows that she’s a healer, a helper, a person that others run to when they’re sick, hurting, or struggling. Sue/Stitch/Susan/Mama has always been a beacon of information and access to holistic, well rounded, healing.
What:
Sunday she was rushed to the hospital and was in surgery hours later. Surgeons and nurses keep repeating that if she hadn’t of come when she did she wouldn’t be alive right now. She’s had surgery on her abdomen after a serious leak naturally occurred inside her due to gradual erosion. Healing originally was estimated to have her released on Sunday but as her condition hasn’t changed much since emerging after surgery we’re taking it day by day. She cannot eat or drink and is attached to many machines keeping her alive and healthy right now. But we hope to see less tubes and more movement by next week.
Why?
so why do we need money if canadas health care system is so great. Well it is actually covering her stay in the hospital and we couldn’t be more grateful. Later Costs of medical equipment for home care in the future aren’t in our minds right now as that can be covered as well with grants. The main concern is getting to and from the hospital, and getting my siblings into town to see her. As well we would love to be able to cover her rent while she cannot work for another 6 weeks.
anything helps. Everything donated here will go directly to the children of Susan for transportation to the hospital, and bills that Susan is unable to manage while being treated for this emergency.
Thank you for reading. Her positive attitude is inspiring right now and I encourage you all to reach out and wish her well. (She can’t read or respond to messages but the good energy is always welcome).
