Mighty Convoy - Ambulances for Ukraine
Donation protected
I was introduced to Simon Brake, who started a not for profit charitable entity called Mighty Convoy, by my friend and ex colleague from LK Shields, David Williams. David has participated in one delivery and is coming on the delivery which is the subject of this GoFundMe invitation. Mighty Convoy's mission is to raise funds to buy and deliver second hand ambulances and medical aid to Ukraine.
Seven delivery trips have completed by Mighty Convoy and the organisation has now delivered 24 ambulances full of medical and humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
I have decided to join the next convoy which will depart London around 10th October and arrive at Lviv, Ukraine, a couple of days later.
This time, the medical aid charity which Mighty Convoy partners with in Ukraine has asked if we can supply 4 x 4 vehicles that can be used to transport casualties over rough terrain.
These are life saving vehicles whose purpose is to get injured men and women to the ambulances and aid stations within the "golden hour" during which the recovery outcomes are much better. In addition, the vehicles will be delivered with medicine and medical supplies.
Each vehicle will cost about £ 10,000 and my new target is to raise the funding for at least 50% and hopefully 100% of this amount.
Please support us if you can.
