Hi, I'm Candy and I could use your help! I'm scheduled to receive top surgery this September. I will undergo a double-incision mastectomy at the Kryger Institute in Thousand Oaks, CA. I've come to this decision because I want to feel healthy and happy in my own body.
I am fortunate to have health insurance through my employer, which will partially cover the cost of the procedure, but I still need some financial assistance. If you can, please consider donating any amount within your means to help me reach my goal. The funds raised here will be used to:
- cover the out-of-pocket cost of the surgery
- buy recovery-related medical supplies
- pay for meals during recovery
- Buster (my dog) will need extra walks and a few days at a sleepaway camp
Asking for money is my worst nightmare. That and ASMR. In return, I can make you a mixtape, a craft, or a drawing, and help you move or feed your cats over Christmas break.
