Candy -the brave dog

Another cry for help for our dear Candy dog:
Many of you know this little farm dog candy. Last summer someone shot her in the leg as she was trying to protect the farm. Many of you came to her financial aid.
Well this morning at 3 o’clock we got burglarized at the farm again and of course Candy went out to do her duty. After being brave and running the intruders off the farm she returned beaten up and on three legs. Hoping for minimal internal damage. She’s the toughest little dog I know. Her bravery tends to get her in trouble. This is truly a dog that will throw herself in front of you to protect you without thinking about the outcome. She returned back to the farm in three legs and a bloody side.
I drove her up to Summit Emergency and had to leave her for three days. Surgery scheduled for Wednesday. She for sure has a fractured femur.
I’m going to just throw this out there for any of you who can help with her hospital bills. I got a quote and left a deposit of $8,500.
