Help! Candy needs a hand

I am a 59 year old widow, I work 5 days a week. I moved to a small town close to where I work, don’t know very many people. I have. 2 cats Bonnie and Clyde, they are a lot of company, and really make me laugh. On November 1, 2020 I decided to clean the ceiling fan. I grabbed a kitchen chair to stand on, when I was getting up on the chair it slid out from under me ( I mopped and waxed the floors earlier). I fell out of chair backwards, putting my left arm/ hand down, should not have done that(shouldn’t have used the chair, I knew better than that). I broke my arm/wrist. I am going to be off work about 6-8 weeks. I have no insurance so I will have no money coming in for rent, utilities, etc. I haven’t been able to see an orthopedic doctor as recommended by the ER (due to no ins), so I hope it heals ok, I’m trying to get help for that but if I had money in hand they would at least see me and tell me what needs to be done. Right now my main concern is paying rent, utilities, buying food. The cats do depend on me. We don’t live extravagantly, a one bedroom apartment. The only family I have is a niece and a nephew, of which I rarely see, I am still close with my in-laws after loosing my husband to cancer. I normally wouldn’t go to these measures but right now I’m kind of in a bad spot. Any help you could offer would definitely be appreciated.
