Candlelighters fundraising

On the 13/01/2023 I received the devastating news that my identical twin brother, Harry, has Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. This was a bolt out of the blue. It developed and was diagnosed in less than 24 hours. His symptoms were headache, bruising and excruciating pain in his back and legs. The blood results confirmed the diagnosis and he was started on intensive treatment which will span a projected two year time frame. The aim is to cure and we will ride the wave with all the ups and downs this will entail. Harry and my family have been blown away by the kindness of the staff on ward L31 at Leeds General Infirmary and the Yorkshire charity, Candle Lighters, who have shown incredible generosity and support. We would like to be able to show our appreciation by raising funds in order for this charity to continue to provide the support for all children and families with childhood cancer.
