Dear Family and Friends,
Many of you may not be aware, as I tend to not complain and I try to always stay on the brighter side of situations, looking for solutions and taking each day as an opportunity to research new ways of living with the pain of my dibilitating condition...I have suffered from OA, Osteoarthritis for the past 15 years and it has unfortunately progressed to where I have underwent double hip replacement surgery, am in constant pain and have lost nearly all of my mobility. unfortunately, I now have to have both knees replaced as well as my right shoulder. Because of my inablity to drive or get around any longer, my husband has had to sacrafice his ability to work, as he must be here to care for me, get me to my Doctors appointments, as well as ensure my seizures continue to lie dormat. This is a very degenerative condition and is progressing pretty aggressively and attacking all of my joints. I am a (Proud) mother of 4, grandmother of 3 and a wife to my husband for over 31 years, who before my illness, was very active with my family and community, a Cheerleading coach with a bright outlook on life in general. I was employed for ten years with a very large company and enjoyed an amazing salary that was going to help take care of my family; however God's plan for me has changed and I am now in need of some assistance to get through surgery, pay my bills, co-pays and take care of my health, as our family comes from a long line of proud hard workers and we pray that together, we can still acheive this milestone and arrive on the other side of our situation. The surgerys will allow me to be mobile again, live pain free and get back to living life and giving back to those who have always been there for my family and I. If all goes well, once recovered, I am in the process of collecting Disability, as I am told that I will no longer be able to work and it is progressing well. It is however: a process and will take a little while to come through.
Once processed, I can continue to help support our family and the community. Words cannot express my gratitude for any help I/We receive from you and we assure you that through our deeds, we will pay it forward. Any amount is not tooo small or too large.
