Hi, my name is Candice, single mother of two young children- 1 year old and newborn. I have made countless efforts for months trying to acquire financial aid from both the government & children’s father but to no avail. I have started this fundraiser to help afford childcare and other necessitates for my children until I get approved.

I currently receive WIC and Medicare. I’m currently waiting on approval for food stamps and CAPS program. I utilize churches and food banks as much as possible. If you are able to donate, or even provide support by sharing or pointing me in the right direction of organizations/programs and job opportunities that can help us during this time, it would be greatly appreciated. The cost of daycare for my two children is $1,064.00/month. We were recently blessed with two spots in a well known & trusted daycare after waiting months on a waiting list but I’m still waiting on the CAPS to be approved and have to pay until then. I will loose my spot if not and have to wait for who knows how long. As a mother struggling with PPD, I very much look forward to being able to work and provide for my family without assistance. I just completed my life insurance agent course and have to take the state exam to get my license. This exam also cost money I don’t have because I am my children's only caregiver. If I can get them both in daycare I plan to DoorDash and Uber while I’m applying for jobs and until I pass my exam.
