Candice Love and Light Bounceback

January 26th UPDATE ~

Candi Gurl has found a place of her own and will be moving in February 3rd. This is a big step in her new life. It is close to Kevin and the kids. We are all very excited for her and her new journey. Having said that, things are still a daily struggle. She has yet to be approved for disability which blows my mind. Any donations big or small are greatly appreciated. This specific update is more about helping her with the physical move. Some of her friends are planning on being at her house on Saturday February 3rd and 4th. We need help with packing and moving. Update!!! PLEASE READ

Thank you all for your support! I get asked a lot about Candice and her status. She is good. She is figuring out her life now which is so different. She is an amazing Mama - that like all of us Mommas worry and work towards taking care of our babies more than ourselves. There has been tons of changes, successes and disappointments. You probably know if you are on this page but if you didn't - Candice and Kevin have decided to lovingly separate. They are committed to be the best parents to their babies Kenley and Asher. This was being considered before her accident. It obviously adds complexity. All that matters is that they are unified in their parenting with their adorable, smart and sensitive cuties. I get asked - why the gofundme? "That is what insurance is for." We have recently been given the biggest blow of our lives. Dude who was distracted had liability only is left with NO consequences. After tons of litigation- Candice is being offered $115K. Verizon based on insurance has a $900K lien and her attorney has reduced his cost to $25K so what does that leave Candice to rebuild- ABSOLUTELY ZERO. Candice is not trying to get rich off this situation but she needs to be able to survive. She is restrained to a wheelchair. As a mom I cant imagine what she is thinking and feeling. She has great friends and we, of course are rallying but this is beyond us. I - not Candice - am begging. Please help. If you have avenues of fundraising hit me up. I am not worried about putting some sweat in! I just want my beautiful friend to be able to focus on healing rather than surviving.

December 15th our dear friend and family member Candice was a passenger in a car that was hit by a distracted driver. We are still waiting on lots of tests and labs but as it stands Candice has no mobility or feeling below the waist. She is in very good spirits but her and the family have asked for privacy as many decisions still need to be made.

I am asking for help for the family with the following:

1. Donations for the Best rehabilitation in Denver,Co. Travel for her and immediate family will require additional costs.

2. Donations for In-home care (immediate and long term)

3. Love, Light and Prayers

Candi is a light in my life and I know she has made the same difference for others. We ask if you are able to please donate to our effort and shed light and love to this beautiful family please do.
