Candice Chery’s Call for Help

Hello everyone.

My name is Candice Chery. I am a single mother of two beautiful girls, Anjali (13yrs) and Isla (9yrs).

On Sunday, October 8th 2023, I was walking my dog, Milo, and was hit in the crosswalk by a moving vehicle. The driver of the vehicle ran a stop sign and the vehicle also ran over my two legs. From the cause of this accident, I have one severely sprained left foot and two broken bones in my right foot. For which, I had surgery to implant one plate, rod and screw. In order to have a safe and healthy recovery I must be off of my right foot for 12weeks.

Due to these injuries received, I have to unfortunately, temporarily shut down my licensed home daycare for the remainder of the 2023 year. My home daycare is my livelihood in providing for myself and my children. I am asking for any help to keep us a float financially with the monthly bills I have. I would be extremely grateful for any assistance to help.
