This fundraiser is for Candace Simmerman Hollinger.. As most of you know, Candace recently underwent another brain surgery..
Here’s her story in her own words: “I’ve been having seizures for 22 years and in 2000, I had a low grade benign tumor removed. Unfortunately, It reoccurred this year as Oligodendroglioma Astrocytoma (Grade III) malignant tumor (fast growing, no cure, but can treat to try to slow growth). Treatment minimum is around $42k year. My insurance is not covering any the neuro-oncologist I need to see because my tumor is so rare (1/1200) and Doctors are out of state.”
Candace is a single mother of two daughters and has three grandchildren. She is one of the sweetest, nicest and caring people we know. She is also a fellow jeeper (Nauti Blue).
