Candace’s act of kindness.
Candace’s uncle needed a kidney and was becoming very VERY ill. Without hesitation, she got tested and was a match for him. When we got the news that the surgery was a go, we flew to Minnesota for the transplant. Surgery needed to be as immediate as possible. The night before the surgery, we received a call that the surgery needed to be postponed. This raised our anxiety levels and stressed everyone out. Thankfully Thursday Nov. 12, the surgery went through. Candace’s selfless act saved his life.
To add on after a successful surgery, we got a call that our beloved dog passed away suddenly back at home. He had been at the Vet for the past few days. The Vet eventually found out that he had diabetes. When he received his insulin for the first time, it shut down his system and he passed away. Things have been just crazy lately. Furthermore, medical bills for Merle (DOG) are a little steep. Frustrating and hectic would be an understatement.
My family is stressed. Anything is helpful. Thank you to everyone!
