Candace's Fight!!

Candace's fight! In November 2019, Candace’s pancreas went crazy. It ended her up in the hospital with organ failure. Candace was diagnosed with acute pancreatitis. She ended up on dialysis, ecmo, and life support. She fought for weeks to live and went through rehab and came home and continued to fight. Since being home, Candace has been unable to work due to reoccurring pancreas attacks. She has had a feeding tube placed to help provide her nourishment because her body does not tolerate foods by mouth. She has also been through several procedures to attempt to open her pancreas duct and those procedures unfortunately failed. Candace has been through so much in the past year and is now facing a major surgery to improve her quality of living. On December 9th, her medical team will perform a major surgery to help her get her life back. This surgery is the only option to help her. As we all know, times are extremely tough right now for everyone, but I know we live in a giving community and every little bit will help. Candace wants her life back and wants to get back to work as soon as she can. Any donation is so greatly appreciated by Candace!
