It is with a heavy heart that I share the news of the transitioning of my mother, Candace Epperson. She lived a life of love always wearing a smile to brighten a room. Her kindness, laughter, strong will power and helpfulness to others made an impact on many lives. She was always a woman on a mission determined to travel and didn’t let the hurdles of life stop her. Three years ago, she decided she wanted a new scene with a fresh start - so she took a leap of faith and moved to Colorado. Sadly, three weeks ago she received the devastating news that she had kidney cancer. Even in her time of uncertainty, she was still making plans to adjust for the upcoming battle. Unfortunately, the cancer was very aggressive and there were no longer any life saving options. Things were progressing at a rapid rate and still she found a reason to smile. Candace was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 29, 2021. It has been difficult accessing things to move to the next phase of this process. The policy will not cover all of the expenses. I’m asking for your help in order to get her packed up and bring her back home to California for a celebration of her life. From my heart to yours I want to say “thank you” in advance for your love, prayers, and generosity.
