Candace is the wife of one of our friends and co-workers, Dennis Brown. She has spent the last 23 years in the medical field as a Specialty Medication Advocate. Dennis and Candace are the parents of 3 teenage children. Twin girls, Lauren and Jeessie and a boy Corbin. They are about to celebrate their 21st anniversary.

A few months ago they got the heartbreaking news that Candace had lung cancer. They spent many days in the hospital while Candace received Chemo and then a lung removal surgery. Just recently, they discovered it wasn't lung cancer but, in fact, small cell soft tissue cancer. With this new diagnosis, Candace and Dennis are continuing to fight this while going to OHSU, weekly, for a different form of Chemo.

During these last few months, Candace has been unable to work and with Dennis taking days and weeks off at a time to be with his wife, the Bill's are piling up and it is taking a financial toll on them.

We are asking that you search your hearts and think about giving what you can so this wonderful family can just focus on getting Candace well again.
