"We are thankful for all of you. We couldn't make it through this without you. We are thankful to God for the countless blessings he has bestowed upon us, even as we battle through this." -Tim
Recently Candace had been treated for what was thought to be pneumonia. After two rounds of different antibiotics with no improvement, she was advised that she should get in for a CT scan of her chest and lungs. The CT scan resulted in an immediate trip to the ER and being admitted to the hospital. After 12 days in the hospital (4 of them in ICU) a collapsed lung, 3 procedures 1 major spinal surgery, 11 CT/MRI/Ultrasounds, uncountable number of pokes, dozens of blood clots through out her body and 2 awful diagnoses including stage 4 lung cancer she is finally home!! Before chemo and radiation can be considered for treatment she will be spending the next 6+weeks in a neck brace unable to do most of the things we take for granted.
We are asking for help to take some of the financial burden off their shoulders while Candace recovers and prepares for the difficult road ahead. Candace is going to be off work for at least 2 months while she recovers from her spinal surgery and possibly longer once she starts more in depth treatments for the cancer.
*no amount is too small!!
"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth give way and the mountains fall into
the heart of the sea" Psalm 46:1,2 NIV
