We the team of District NRI Foundation  (DNF), organizing 2 days Cancer Screening Camp in Nalgonda district - As per recent statistics, Nalgonda has highest cancer frequency rate compared to other geographics. Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital   Research Institutes are providing the needed  specialists , staff and medical equipment. We recently finished similar camp in May , Screened 610 patients and unfortuantely 21 first stage cancer cases got identified .

Details of Cancer Screening Camp

India has some of the world's highest incidences of cancer, especially cervical, gall bladder, breast, oral and pharynx, which are among the most common ones too. DNF seeks to raise awareness about the cancer and ways to detect, manage and treat.  

This free cancer screening camp including free oral examination, breast examination, cervical Pap smear, ultrasonography,  mammography and tumor marker assessment, awareness videos and pamphlets, paramedics update program, inauguration of hospital-based cancer registry and daycare chemotherapy. Cancer was a dreaded disease but not anymore. With timely consultation and early detection cancer is curable. “Prevention is better than cure”,  so it is important to get regular health checkups done to early detect the anomalies.
