Hello Cam Jansen's Family & Friends,

The Jansen Family is facing every parent's worst nightmare. Their incredible son, Cameron, was recently diagnosed in April with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (A.L.L.). As they begin this very unexpected and difficult journey, we want to do everything we can to support them.

While their main focus is on Cam's treatment, health, and emotional well-being, the financial burden that comes with that cancer diagnosis is staggering. Even with insurance, the out-of-pocket medical expenses include but are not limited to; hospital stays (planned & unplanned), treatments, medications, and ongoing care for the next several months are overwhelming. On top of that, the family faces added costs like time away from work, traveling to and from Children's and any specialist that might help Cam and countless other unexpected expenses.

This GoFundMe is a way for all of our community to get together to help and support the Jansen family during this difficult time. Every donation will go directly to Cam and his family so they can focus on getting him healthy and back to his witty and charismatic self.

If you have ever played hockey with any of the Jansen children you know how amazing Chris and Kari are to have on your team. They have been a part of the OMGHA and Osseo High School Hockey community for many years. They have graciously opened their home to countless team gatherings and volunteered Cam to be goalie for numerous teams doing what he does best- brings JOY wherever he goes!
