CANCER JAM 2015 HONOREE: LINDA BLOCKER

Last month, Linda Blocker received a tragic message from her doctor – test results indicated she was in stage four of breast, lymphatic and bone cancer. Blocker, age 67, received the diagnosis just a few months after losing her job and healthcare coverage at Radioshack. In addition to the physical challenges and emotional aspects of cancer, Blocker also faces the financial stress of finding the $40,000 to $60,000 needed to pay for cancer treatment without private insurance.
