My name is Mandie and I was born the daughter of a warrior. My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer 4 years ago. We all took the news pretty hard and my sister and I were terrified that we would loose her. Chemo started and the hair was gone. The sickness was unescapable (I'll spare you the details)and I remember thinking, "this is where she breaks, this is when she gives up". Looking back now, I don't remember any tears or any screams of pain. I don't remember wigs of shame or hats ment to hide it. I don't remember anything other than her smile and a shiney perfectly round smooth bald head, pushing through, everyday, never giving up hope,  always staying strong, without a fault to record. She was going to beat cancer and there was no other option. Today, she is cancer free and not taking a single second for granted. Her 50th birthday is approaching, August 25, and I would like nothing more than to see her able to experience the Greece cruise of her lifetime. Please help in making this dream come true. <3
