Cancer's collateral damage

I never thought I would be writing a gofundme page, but here I am doing so. My sister-in-law Veronica was just diagnosed with lung Adenocarcinoma with metastasis to her brain, Stage 4, which doesn't have a positive survival rate sadly.
The beginning of our journey started on 4/23/19, when she was admitted to the hospital and endured debilitating brain surgery called a Craniotomy, which is the surgical removal of part of the bone from the skull to expose her brain, helping reduce swelling and ultimately removed 2 of her 4 brain tumors.
She came out of surgery with 3 areas of her head shaved, stapled, intense pain and most of all confusion. Confusion that hasn't gone away and most likely will never; our families new normal. Her children have gone from "normal" typical days of working, studying, playing sports to wondering if their Mom will ever be what she once was.
As one could imagine the emotional, physical and financial drain has become a daily part of my brother's life and the lives of the children. He has not worked as he's at the Acute Rehab daily, navigating her care, helping her eat, re-orienting her, making sure the kids don't deviate from their routines and everything else in between.
I understand there's many causes one can donate to, which is understandable. Any contribution would be an enormous help as my brother and his family need all the assistance they can get at this time. Donating what you can will help ease one of the many burdens he has to deal with most notably the mounting medical bills today and going forward.
Again, I never thought I'd be in a position where I would be writing this. My family's thankful for any assistance you can provide and please keep Veronica Hope in your thoughts.
