My dad is a stage 4 Mantle Cell survivor.  Once in remission from mantle cell lymphoma it is    usually 5 years before it comes back. While he was fighting this cancer and receiving chemo,  he was running marathons and half marathons raising money for others who have cancer. He even received the Local Town Hero Award      when we lived in Delaware. Five years ago he        went into remission from this cancer and
remained cancer free until this year.

This past February my dad contracted severe
pneumonia and they discovered that cancer
was back in our lives. But this time the cancer wasn’t  mantle cell lymphoma. It was B-Cell
Lymphoblastic Leukemia. While this cancer is 
curable it requires much harsher medication.  His doctor urged him to go to Houston Texas
to seek treatment at MD Anderson. This 
hospital is over 9 hours away from home.            Once he arrived and saw the Leukemia 
doctor they informed him they wanted to 
begin treatment on him ASAP. He wasn’t able
to go home, he went straight into the hospital. Treatment has begun and this will be a very
harsh treatment for him.  Once finished with 
the initial month of being treated in the 
hospital he will have to stay in Houston Texas 
to continue the treatment for one year. Otherwise he will need to go back and forth once a week.  

This is where y’all come in, my dad is not the
type of guy to ask for help and when he does
you know he must need it. Well, he has asked 
and needs y’all’s help. We are trying to raise 
money for medical expenses. This money will 
be going to medical bills, traveling back and 
forth and to hopefully find my parents a place
to stay while he is getting treatment there. We would be so appreciative of anything you can give and if you can’t give anything we
completely understand and ask for prayers for a complete healing and we ask that you
