Hello we are Darlene Mata and Stacy Flenory, friends of Pam Hyslop. Pam was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer and we would like for her to be able to go through her medical journey feeling supported emotionally, physically and financially. You may know her life story but many do not. She lost her only child Josh in 2003 in an automobile accident. Since then she has devoted her life to improving the youth sports programs in Visalia, and starting a non profit benefitting local youth golf programs - the Josh Perkins Foundation. Her efforts have helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for children in our community. She was the General Manager and CEO of Amigos restaurant for over 19 years where she worked with and donated to hundreds of families assisting with banquets, memorial services, and fundraisers. Amigos connects us all thanks to Pam.
In 2021 Pam was diagnosed with a rare motor neuron disease in the ALS family which has greatly affected her mobility and strength. Pam has remained positive, strong and a bad ass warrior through it all. She is scheduled for cancer surgery in early June to remove the large tumor on her ovary, and will start immediate chemotherapy to try to shrink the remaining tumors.
So many people have asked what they can do, because she has done so much for others. Your contribution will allow her husband Ken to be by her side and relieve some of the financial burdens associated with this horrid disease. All donations go directly to Pam and Ken.
Please pray for surgery and treatment, and for Gods healing on her body. One person should never have to endure all of this. Let’s show her our love!
Thank you and God bless you, each and every one.
