We are looking to extend her life with Treatments outside the US.
In October 2020, Peggy was experiencing issues that would later be diagnosed as Colorectal
Cancer.
This started us down the path of Chemotherapy, Radiation and Cancer Tumors being removed.
She went in and had the tumor removed, and we had been told that she would do more Chemo
and that would be it.
After more Chemo had been finished, Peggy had more back pain, later diagnosed as a cancer tumor in the liver. This meant more chemo and another surgery to remove 10-15% of her liver and
gallbladder. Then another round of chemo.
Peggy again began having severe pain in her ribs and went to the chiropractor to see if it was an alignment issue. After a week and the pain got worse, she scheduled an appointment with a pain center as when she called the cancer facility. They told her to call her regular doctor for pain issues. After issues with Dr’s transferring, we decided to try Cancer Center of America- here in Phoenix. After our original consultation they explained that Peggy was not in remission, but the pain issues she was having was cancer in the ribs and spine. They discussed that they would start Peggy back on Chemo and do some radiation to target the cancer in her bones. While chemo has been essential to reduce cancer issues, chemo has also been the reason for two Hospitalizations as Peggy’s body has major issues from the chemo (organ shutdown). Her first trip to the hospital required 10 days to get recovered and body chemistry re-balanced. After going back to CTCOA we discussed not finishing chemo but found that that was not an option at that time. We have seen a very good reduction in all her markers but again she is back in the hospital with issues (complications).
Over the last 3 weeks Peggy has been reviewing a treatment that looks to be very promising. It is
in Mexico as the United States has not approved it. It is at the CHIPSA Hospital and offers: Anti-Tumor Immunity, Cellular Therapy (DC MAX), & GcMAF.
By activating these macrophages, the patient's immune system has a chance to identify and clear cancer cells.
It includes Apatone (synergistic anti-tumor ), Insulin Potentiated Therapy (to target cancer cells), Hyperbaric Evaluation / HBO Oxygen Treatment, IV Ozone Therapy, PEMF, Gerson Immunotherapy Protocol, and Central Venous Catheter.
The costs for doing the Cancer Treatment in Mexico will be $48,880 plus travel and personal
expenses.
After talking with and listening to POD casts with other patients, we feel this is a great opportunity and would like to extend the opportunity to assist us. We are not the types to ask for help but wanted to share the story and look forward to sharing options open to other cancer patients.
Our goal is to extend Peggy's life using treatments that are not available here!
