Through our life we all are on our own journey. However, Some times two journeys cross paths and become an even bigger journey together.

29 Years ago we were just kids when we met. In one moment our souls were connected. Since then we have done us. Two opposites but making each other better. A couple months ago our journey took a turn we did not foresee coming. As I did my normal check up for her, I felt something different. It was a mass/lump in her left breast. This wasn’t there before and a week later it felt bigger. Doctors appointments were scheduled, tests performed and it confirmed our worse fears “Cancer”. Stage 2B. Surgery was scheduled and performed however now our journey takes us into radiation and chemotherapy. We did not see this coming at all. So here we are still hand in hand on the path we have chosen together. I say “WE” as we are soulmates.

The appointments will come and keep coming but we will both be in this together; Every appointment, every treatment. The tears have flowed, the anxiety of each step and the future is unknown. We keep living for each other, each day is a blessing. We wake up every morning grasping our hands together; knowing that together we can overcome anything the day brings our way, we will triumph. We are a team and now we are recruiting others to help our team to succeed in winning this. Any donations will help along our journey.
