Cancer Treatment, Travel, and Rising Medical Bills

Dear Friends and Family,

As many of you know, a couple of years ago Trista was diagnosed with cancer. In the coming weeks, Trista, her husband Dave, and their three daughters will leave the Chicago suburbs for the next several months to travel to California for additional treatment.

We are rallying together to support them in every way possible. This has been and continues to be a long road for their family, including the financial burden of ongoing, lengthy cancer treatments and now the additional financial burden of traveling to California and renting a home.

The Situation:

As many of you know, Trista is a wonderful mother and wife who puts her loved ones first. She and her family now need our support. Despite having insurance, the out-of-pocket expenses are mounting rapidly, and the expenses of additional treatment and picking up and moving to California (which is not covered by insurance) are making the financial strain heavier, especially as Dave is unable to spend significant time on his business as he cares for Trista, their girls, and their home.

How You Can Help:

We’ve created this GoFundMe campaign to ease the financial burden on Trista and Dave. Your support will allow them to focus on what’s most important—fighting cancer and getting the care she needs to beat it—without the added stress of mounting bills. Where Your Donation Will Go:

Ongoing cancer treatments not covered by insurance; travel costs to California (including shipping their car); home rental costs in California for the next few months; and daily living expenses, as Dave focuses on Trista and their kids.
