Hi my name is Jessica and I’m fundraising for my father's cancer treatment costs and home repairs.

He was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer that metastasized to his spine causing a fracture which resulted in major back surgery.

My sister Jasmine and I flew out from California to Michigan in order to take care of him and see him to all of his doctors appointments. He is in dire need of assistance since he can no longer work or collect unemployment. My sister and I are aiding him with his finances but are unable to cover the majority of his medical expenses.

His house is also in need of major repairs that we are not able to finance. He has lived in the same house since 1968 that he inherited from our great grandmother. It holds a special place in his heart so we are determined to help him repair the roof and seal the basement so that it will stay in livable condition.

My sister and I would like to improve my dad's current living situation because he has worked his entire life to provide for the family and we want to be able to show our appreciation.
