Hi everyone. This is Rylie, an 8 year old Cane Corso.

Rylie was recently diagnosed, on 8/22/23, with osteosarcoma (a cancerous tumor in the bone)… attempting to write/accept those words since her diagnosis has continuously brought me to tears and breakdowns.

Rylie has been my best friend from the second I held her, over 8 years ago, at 30lbs. Even as a puppy, I knew our bond would be special. Her loyalty and love was unmatched. She never let me out of her sight, she protected me, and she wanted to go everywhere I was going.. which was usually to a restaurant to meet furiends or taking a trip to Starbucks, solely to treat her with a pup-cup.

No matter where we went she always turned heads and would draw a crowd. At 120lbs she was pretty hard to miss and let’s just say, she’s never been one to turn down the extra attention.

From the moment Rylie was diagnosed, I started doing research on procedures and our options. We are hoping for the best and looking into trials to help her continue living a wonderful and comfortable life. Tomorrow she goes in for CT scans to see what our next steps could be. We started this GoFundMe to help with the financial piece of the puzzle to help her have great quality of life. All funds will go directly towards procedures/surgeries and (fingers crossed) hopefully a trial to help extend her life while maintaining a great quality of life.
