Cancer Treatment for Jerry Hinton

My name is Jerry Hinton and I was diagnosed with end of stage 3 throat cancer. If you live in the Huntersville area, you may know me from The Bakery Shoppe! I have been a full-time baker there for over 15 years. I am undergoing several months of treatment that includes chemo and radiation in hopes my cancer will be gone by then. I am a single father to two beautiful daughters, Madison and McKayla. They are 11 and 8 years old and they are my entire world. As you can assume, this diagnosis has been extremely difficult on us. I have been unable to work so providing for my family and covering my medical costs have been virtually impossible. I am very thankful to the local church who have been allowing me to grab canned goods to help put food on the table for my girls, but my health insurance is requiring me to pay medical bills upfront or I cannot receive treatment. I never thought my daughters and I would be in this situation, but we are in desperate need of help. Anything goes a long way. My heart goes out to anyone who has or is currently struggling with cancer. We are strong! I know this is going to be hard, but I am keeping my head up for not only myself, but for my girls.
