Cancer Treatment for Hurley
Donation protected
This week we found out that our perfect little pup has lymphoma. We met with the oncologist today to discuss our options and could potentially have him for another year to a year and a half with chemo therapy treatments. I was a bit worried about chemo at first because of how you see people react to it. But I found out that it’s much different for animals - not as aggressive. It would basically kill off as much of the cancer as possible so he could be in remission. We aren’t sure how long that would last but it’s more optimistic than anything else. And the most important part is that he wouldn’t be in any pain.
I know it’s a lot to ask of anyone, especially with everything going on in the world right now... but we just could use some help with the cost of this treatment. Anything at all helps. And I will give status updates along the way. According to the doctor, his lymph nodes should start going down in size within the first 24-48 hours.
Thank you so much for even taking the time to read this. Let me know if you have any questions!
